Stepping into a large conference room one morning in the early days of working at BrownGreer, Kerry McLaughlin encountered a mountain of bankers’ boxes she needed to help sort. As she came to learn more about what the boxes held — important information from claimants in the Fen-Phen “Diet Drug” program — she realized even the least complex work at BrownGreer carries an urgency.

“Being part of that moment was the first time I felt part of something so much bigger than just a job, and feeling like my work really made an impact.”

Kerry has spent two decades growing professionally with the increasing responsibilities that came as BrownGreer took on more projects. Becoming Finance Director in 2012, Kerry was instrumental in handling the Firm’s Deepwater Horizon work across 21 satellite offices across the Gulf Coast.

Now serving as BrownGreer’s first-ever Chief Financial Officer, she continues to drive many efficiency initiatives, with a constant goal to ensure the Finance Department is pursuing digital transformation and automation. Most importantly, she serves as a catalyst that works between teams and departments to make sure the bigger picture stays in view.
